This gaiwan is made by local Yuxi town family, where they have Dragon kiln and process pottery in traditional way. Using an local raw clay. This gaiwan is extremly small and thin, and these are very hard to firing in the dragon kiln. Most of them get damage or cracks.
This clay is very good for Wuyi oolong tea and other traditionally processed higher fired oolongs. The size is very good for gongfu tea way.
